Hello Family,
Blessings, love, and peace to you and your family.
Blessings, love, and peace to you and your family.
Why am I always rushing to be on time and still late? The answer is simple, it's overcrowding. Crowding too many things in the time allotted. Working on one project and before I'm done or maybe before I even get started, I'm doing something else.
I'll give you an example: If I'm getting ready for work, my allotted time to get ready is about half an hour. Well, while I'm getting ready I notice that the kitchen or bathroom is dirty and I start cleaning up those areas instead of using my allotted time to get ready. The next thing you know I'm rushing. Rushing doesn't help you get anything done any faster, it actually slows you down. I had a teacher that said, "the more hurried I am, the slower I get." So I need to slow down and concentrate on the task at hand. Maybe, if I write those (bright ideas) (tasks) down I can go back to them at a more suitable time. The family always knew what the problem was. They told me, you are doing too much, you can do that later, you need to be getting out of here. I was in denial and didn't recognize this flaw. Who knew? The rushing, fretting, scrambling, Whew! It makes me shake my head when I think about it. If you have the same problem, may I suggest that you take a look at what's making you rush and or late. It's not important to do everything now. But it is extremely important to concentrate on the priority before you and give it your undivided attention. Stop rushing and enjoy the processes in life, you will feel better and you will feel better about yourself.

Some time ago while visiting one of the local nursing homes, on one particular day I had a casual conversation with one of the patients. She said, "they have an activities coordinator, but they don't do a lot."
Well, before you know it we were singing gospel songs and the aides were pushing people to where we were. We quoted scriptures, listened to a gospel CD and one lady quoted the Gettysburg address. Before long the aides joined us in our singing. We were in service. The patients enjoyed it and so did I. It was my secret desire to give them something; some joy, laughter, hope and fun. I praise God for the opportunity. They were expecting me to repeat it the following week. It was not a problem. To God be the glory. I was at the nursing home in the first place, because weekly I visited someone that I knew, but it turned into something else. Share and Spread love wherever you go. SCRIPTURE: 1 John 4:11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. Ants have super strength. They can lift objects 20 times (some say 50 times) their own body weight.
Ants take cooperation to another level. Millions of ants can function and work together as one very organized efficient group. They can live up to 30 years. I'm going to imagine that they live so long because they are working together (getting exercise, no time for nonsense and eliminating the drama). They don't have ears and some don' t have eyes. They can work together and build a tower a mile high. The largest nest found was 3,700 miles long, with millions of nests and billions of workers. Just a little ant. They are so wise. I think a great lesson can be learned from their example of unity. What can we as able bodied, healthy, strong, wise, talented, loving creatures of God's creation do if we Consider the Ant. Life would be so much easier and sweeter, if we had someone that loved us and someone that we could trust to share the load. Proverbs 6:6 You people who don't want to work, think about the ant. Consider its ways and be wise. (NIRV) New International Reader's Version |
