Hello Family,
Blessings, love, and peace to you and your family.
Blessings, love, and peace to you and your family.
When it comes to Trick or Treat are you doing tricks or giving treats. When I say Tricks I mean doing things that are not kind or helpful to people. Another trick talking about somebody behind their back, but always smiling in their face.
Think about giving more treats. Treating people with love and respect. We all want to be loved and respected. The bible says you reap what you sow. So let's sow some love. Treat and Treat

Twinkle, twinkle, little (You) star.
Do you wonder who you are? In God's world up above, You will find love, love and more love. What the world needs is love. Twinkle, twinkle little You. How I wonder what you are Doing to put more love into the world that's true. Twinkle, twinkle, little STAR. A few weeks ago I said I would try to post pictures of some of the things that I had been up to, while away from you. Here they are. This is a picture of two of my grandchildren in Mellon Park playing Scrabble, laughing and enjoying each other's company. I packed a lunch and picked them up. We had a great time! Me at the wedding shower. Everyone got to guess how many Kisses were in the jar. I guessed 450 and came the closest to the number. My prize was this giant jar of assorted Kisses. The shower was fun, the food good and plentiful. The Pastor had a Photo Challenge this summer with a monthly theme. Each month the participants submitted a photo based on the theme. In August the theme was, "Where do you experience God's healing." My picture is a collage of pictures of the food that I prepared. My message was, I experience God's healing when I eat the foods that God created for us to eat. During the lockdown of the pandemic my husband and I worked on puzzles almost daily. We don't work on them a lot, but still do. This is one that was done over the summer. The puzzle is called Sky Roads and it was 1,000 pieces. On the level of difficulty, for me it was extremely difficult. A picture of my husband, Fred and I. We attended a beautiful outdoor wedding of a friend. We had a good time. I know I did, because I got to dance and dance. Dancing is one of my favorite things to do. Whatever you do in life, do your best to enjoy it. Enjoy your life, your activities, work, family and friends. ENJOY LIFE!
Hello,
I still haven't figured out how to share some of my pictures from the summer. I'll keep trying. Today I would like to give you a prayer of Thanksgiving. Dear God thank You for waking me up today. Thank. you for a tremendous amount of blessings: food, clothing, shelter, love, joy, peace, harmony, and for good relationships. Thank you that you are teaching me how to lose anxiety and fear and to walk in humility coupled with love. Please forgive me for my sins and for sometimes forgetting to pray. Thank you for this wonderful beautiful day that I'm present for. Thank you for Jesus your son, my brother who died for our sins. I love You Lord and I look forward to every morning that I get to spend time with You. Thank you for all in Jesus' name. Amen Over the last several months to a year I've learned a few things. Maybe, just sinking in may better describe it. 1. I am not perfect and I don't have to be or try to be. I'm human. Therefore, God certainly knows that I will never be perfect. We are to strive for perfection. I'm striving every day. 2. Stick to the plan. Don't start something, think about something else and totally leave your first project. Stick to the original plan. When you keep changing things it may confuse you and frustrate others around you. 3. Think about your words. Think about the words you speak and the words that you write before you put them out there. 4. Don't let another's opinion or emotion change yours. 5. Don't be a show off or a showboat. Be regular, be you, have fun, but don't show off (or brag). 6. Don't put your spouse or mate down to other people. It's ok to speak highly of them. 7. Don't speak words because you think that's what someone wants you to say. If that's truly how you feel, that's different. Have a blessed day today. Tomorrow is my birthday. Next time I'll fill you in on what I did.
Until then. |
