Blessings, love, and peace to you and your family.
Hello,
I still haven't figured out how to share some of my pictures from the summer. I'll keep trying. Today I would like to give you a prayer of Thanksgiving. Dear God thank You for waking me up today. Thank. you for a tremendous amount of blessings: food, clothing, shelter, love, joy, peace, harmony, and for good relationships. Thank you that you are teaching me how to lose anxiety and fear and to walk in humility coupled with love. Please forgive me for my sins and for sometimes forgetting to pray. Thank you for this wonderful beautiful day that I'm present for. Thank you for Jesus your son, my brother who died for our sins. I love You Lord and I look forward to every morning that I get to spend time with You. Thank you for all in Jesus' name. Amen

Thank you for the wealth, but not just financially. Thank you for the wealth of good relationships and family. Thank you for the wealth of knowledge at our fingertips and technology. Thank you for the wealth of time and managing it well. Thank you for the wealth of health, food and clothing. Last on this list, but not the least is the wealth of life, thank you for it. Thank you that I am abundantly wealthy. Dear God thank you for lying down to sleep last night and for waking up this morning or at noon or later.
Lord I pray that the virus would dry up from every country, hospital, home and from every person that is suffering from it. This virus has killed thousands and turned homes, lives and worlds upside down. It's scary and hard to see any good in what's happening. I pray that the people who lost their precious family member(s) or friend(s) will remember the good times that they had together. Fill the empty hole in their heart with your love and comfort. Help us to be thankful for our families and the time that we get to spend together. Thank you Lord, that we still have food to eat, a family to help prepare a meal and the ability to sit down and eat together since we seldom had time to do it before. Thank you Lord that there's time to clean our homes and do that deep cleaning that's been put off for months. Thank you Lord that the family is all under one roof to play a game or several and watch movies. Thank you Lord that now I can put my feet up and read the books that have just been collecting dust until now. Thank you Lord that I can take a walk, breathe, sigh and exhale. Thank you that I can take a nap in the middle of the day. Thank you for technology that we can still hear a message from our pastors, call or FaceTime a loved one, have a virtual birthday party on Zoom, have teaching and learning going on from our homes from afar. Thank you that the essential businesses are still open for our daily bread and other necessities. Thank you that some income is still coming in and some expenses have gone down due to the shelter in place orders. I pray for those who lost their income, that a way be made for their needs to be met and quickly. (Thank you for making that happen for them). Thank you for the precious time to clear our minds and think on good things, things that are lovely and pure. Thank you for a roof over our heads and a home to stay in, clothes to wear, comfy things to put on, shoes, heat, air, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning supplies, food, appliances to preserve and cook the food, furniture or even just a floor to sit on. Thank you for water to cook with, drink, flush, brush, wash, clean and shower. Thank you for the wisdom of the store managers to limit the toilet paper, paper towels, bleach and sanitizer so everyone might have a chance to get some as well. Thank you for the doctors, nurses, hospital personnel, government officials, sanitation workers, store clerks, maintenance workers and all essentials business employees putting their health in jeopardy for the rest of us. Thank you for every person reaching out with love and compassion to family, friends and strangers to help them in some way get through this new normal that we are all experiencing. Thank you that the virus didn't just wipe us all out. Thank you that this will pass and we will talk about it one day in the future. Thank you Over the years I have taken quite a few pictures. My favorites are the ones that show God's majesty and glory. Here's a few of them. I WILL PRAISE YOU I will praise you God for your mighty acts, for your splendor and majesty.
I will praise you for the life that you give and for the warm blood that pumps through me. I will praise you for breathing life in me and for the breaths that I take. I will praise your glorious, majestic, mighty and holy name. I will praise you for being God, my God, God all by yourself. You don't need any man, but you truly love him. I praise you for placing me on this earth and for my place on the earth. I will praise you for blue skies, sunny days, for the land, air and the sea and for allowing me to see it. I will praise you for guidance, direction and protection, For you know the end at the beginning and you have a plan for me. I praise you with every fiber in me, that's all of my mind, body, soul and breath. Why? Because you are worthy to be praised. So I will praise you. |
